Welcome to the Webshares Blog

This is an extension of  Webshares.com, a Goal-Quest social network that has the community sense of Facebook, the format and focus of Craigslist and the mating rituals of Shark Tank. It is a Goal-mating site that connects those in pursuit of capital, expertise and basic support with those who are ready, willing and able to help, invest and promote.

On one side of our membership coin “Stars” spanning  teens thru seniors with personal goals, business ideas, and community projects and on the other side “Angels”, those with the resources, skills, and desire to help others and or profit by getting in on the ground floor.

In the main stream, the site uses simple but effective tools to advance the Goal-Mating process. Goal Track a percentage based calculator allows the user to rate and track achievement progress. Rate It guides the user through idea/project evaluation and helps to assign a Rating. Pitch It, a simple form, provides the pitching of an idea for the preview and review of interested Angels.

Also to be found is Pitch Preview, a list of all current pitches, instantly updated when a pitch is made. Make an Offer, form gives the Angel the ability to make an offer after viewing pitches. OfferBoard is a classified list of resources; ideaAlley is a gallery of ideas and projects. Mate Quest,  a search filtered by project or resource ID.

Overall the site gives the budding entrepreneur a place and a way to plant a seed, cultivate an idea, develop and market a; product, service, personal goal or community scheme. It also gives; an investor, would-be investors, mentors and skilled professionals looking for business and service opportunity a source of new projects and trends.

Access to the site requires registration, which is free. There is a site tour that does provide a page view glimpse of features. However to really kick the tires, the user needs to signup.
